Position Overview:
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Chief Data Scientist at IDUN Technologies. The Chief Data Scientist will be responsible for leading data science and algorithm development initiatives, conducting statistical analyses, applying analytical skills, and utilizing pattern recognition techniques to develop algorithms to run within our data cloud or on the edge and offering insights about sleep, cognition based on our Guardian EEG data. The role is primarily based in Zurich, Switzerland, with the flexibility for some remote work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development, implementation and integration of datascience solutions into our full-stack products and services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including hardware engineers, designers, software engineers, and product managers, to drive product innovation.
- Analyze neural data using statistical and machine learning techniques to derive meaningful insights and improve product features.
- Design and contribute to the development of proprietary algorithms that enhance neural signal processing and neurofeedback systems.
- Design and conduct experiments to validate the data quality of our products.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers and interns on best practices in data science and neuroengineering.
- Collaborate with external stakeholders, including b2b partners and academic institutions to stay at the forefront of neurotechnology advancements.
Qualifications:
- A Ph.D. or Master's degree in Data Science, Neuroscience, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of industry experience in neuroengineering, data science, or related fields, with a proven track record of product development and deployment.
- Strong programming skills in Python, with experience in libraries such as TensorFlow and Psychopy
- Experience in Pattern Recognition and algorithm development.
- Experience with signal processing, time-series data, and machine learning techniques applied to neural data.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to transform complex data into actionable insights.
- Experience in deploying machine learning models into production environments.
- Ability to work under pressure and transform challenges into opportunities
