IDUN receives EUROSTARS funding

IDUN Technologies AG is excited to announce its partnership with Cerebra Medical Ltd. and Pilotfish Nederland BV for the «Personalised Sleep Recovery Platform» project, which has received funding support from Eurostars. The project combines Cerebra’s proprietary Odds Ratio Product (ORP), an algorithm that analyzes EEG to provide accurate sleep quality measurement, with IDUN’s in-ear EEG technology and Pilotfish’s hearable design expertise. IDUN will play a key role in the project as a leading company in measuring EEG from the ear, making it comfortable and accessible for consumers to access accurate sleep data. The resulting application will provide personalized and adaptive feedback to consumers, helping them understand and improve their sleep on an individual level. This will change the trajectory of sleep issues globally and scale access to validated measures of sleep quality through in-ear EEG.

Partnering with industry leaders such as Cerebra and leveraging the capabilities of their innovative algorithm, paired with an ergonomic wearable such as EEG sleep earbuds, has the potential to push the entire sleep industry beyond traditional methods such as manual sleep scoring, whose guidelines date back to the 1960s. With the global epidemic of insufficient sleep, this project has huge potential to improve the lives of many people with sleep problems.

The «Personalised Sleep Recovery Platform» project is supported by Eurostars funding, the largest international funding program for SMEs collaborating on R&D projects that create innovative products, processes, or services for commercialization, co-funded by the European Union through Horizon Europe.
